The league is for boys in grades K-8. The league will run from January 26th through March 10th (Saturdays Only). The league will be played at the J. Ashburn Youth Center @ 85 Clarendon Ave. Columbus OH 43223.

NIKE GRASSROOTS TOURNAMENT
We are proud to announce the dates for the 24th Annual All-Ohio Nike Grassroots Basketball Tournament have been set for Friday, March 22, through Sunday, March 24, 2019, in Columbus, Ohio. The entry fee of $385.00 will be due in full between January 1, 2019, and March 14, 2019, to ensure your team’s participation. There are many good teams who want to attend. We will take the first twenty-four (24) teams paid in each age group. This tournament will feature top teams from across the country in each age group.
There will be nine grade groups for the boys division. There will be a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th grade division for the boys. This tournament will receive coverage from Jerry Watson All-Ohio, Baller TV, In the Gym Hoops, Buzzer Beater, and Buckeye Prep Report.
All teams are guaranteed a minimum of three games. We will use the pool play format with four teams per pool. There will be two 20-minute halves and a three-minute overtime period, if necessary, for the 6th Grade through 9th Grade. 1st through 5th Grade will play two 16-minute halves. A player is allotted six fouls before he/she is eliminated. Each team has two time-outs per half.
The top two teams from each pool will advance to play in the Championship Bracket. The 3rd and 4th Place Teams from each pool will advance to the Silver Bracket. Trophies will be given to the first and second place teams in each age group. The outstanding player in each age group will receive an MVP award. There will be an All-Tournament team for each age group. There will be awards for each member of the first and second place team in each age group. We will have fancy tournament t-shirts for you to purchase.
