The All-Ohio Rising Stars is back! Jerry Watson has resurrected an event he hosted 10 years ago. Many of the top players in a 100 mile radius attended the event.
The event was hyped this year. Music added to the electric atmosphere. The player put on a great show for the fans in attendance.
All-Stars are awarded to each age group and well over $1,000 dollars worth of Nike gear was given away to the fans.

2018 ALL-OHIO WINTER LEAGUE-ACADEMY
2018 ALL-OHIO WINTER LEAGUE
We are accepting applications for the All-Ohio Summer Basketball Program’s Nike Winter Basketball League.
This league is for boys in grades 2-8. The league will start January 27, 2018, and conclude with the playoffs on March 18, 2018.
There will be three divisions within the league. The Smurf Division is for grades 2-4. The Future Stars Division is for grades 5-6. The Unstoppable Division is for grades 7-8. There will be an ALL-OHIO BASKETBALL TRAINING ACADEMY 101 for kids ages 4 through 8 who have not previously played organized basketball. If you have a team that would like to play together, there will be a special team rate for those who sign up as a team.
We will use this league to look at prospects for our Nike AAU summer traveling teams that play around the country. This league will pick all-star teams for the Nike Grassroots Central Ohio Basketball Tournament to be held March 23-25, 2018.

The All-Ohio Summer Basketball Program, the State's number one exposure program for high school players,
is proud to announce the 32nd Annual All-Ohio Fall Superstars Basketball League for players in grades 2 through 12. There will be an All-Ohio Nike Training Academy 101 for kids in grades K-2. This league will feature some of Ohio's top high school basketball players. The League showcased over 400 players last Fall. It will receive coverage from the Prep Spotlite Magazine, which reaches over 500 colleges nationwide. Only 460 players will be taken for this league. This league will evaluate players for the All-Ohio AAU travel teams which play nationwide. We will also be making recommendations for the 2019 All-Star Invitational Camps.
This league will feature some of the state’s top players like Jeremiah Keene, Ben Fort, Morgan Safford, Josiah Fulcher, Dominic Penn, Josh Corbin, C.J. Anthony, Treohn Watkins, Willie Mfun, Von Cameron Davis, Marcus Johnson, Javohn Garcia, Marcus Stewart, Colton Landis, Jaiden Lipscomb and many more.
The cost for each player to participate in the Fall Superstars League is $100.00. All participating players will receive a Nike-brand jersey and trunks. Each player will play 6 league games and receive equal playing time. There will be 10 players per team when everybody shows up. If you would like to participate in this great league, please fill out the form below and return it with your $100.00 payment by September 8, 2018. If you have a team that would like to play together, there will be a special team rate for those who sign up as a team.
There will be a league meeting and Basketball Clinic at Whitehall-Yearling High School, 675 S Yearling Road, Whitehall, Ohio 43213, on Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. At that time, we will put together teams, and League Play will start on September 15, 2018.
All games will be played on Saturdays between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Some Saturdays you will play 2 league games. There will be four courts in use for league play. The league will last for five weeks, followed by a single elimination play-off tournament.
*This league meets Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) Bylaw 10-3-3 for non-inter-scholastic competition before basketball season.*

2018 NIKE CUP BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT
This Tournament will take place April 6-8, 2018. This tournament will feature teams from Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky and West Virginia. This Tournament is for all-star teams in Grades 3-11. The entry fee of $375.00 will be due in full by March 26, 2018 to ensure your team’s participation.
This Tournament will receive coverage from all major Ohio scouting and media services. John Stovall will serve as the official scout for this Tournament. Several other major scouting services from surrounding states have also been invited to attend. This is an excellent opportunity for NCAA Division II and III schools to see your players. Over one hundred Division I college coaches will purchase a special scouting report for this event.
All teams are guaranteed a minimum of three (3) games. We will use pool play format with four (4) teams per pool. The top two (2) teams from each pool will advance to play for the championship. The bottom two teams from each pool will play for the Silver Bracket Championship. There will be two (2) 20-minute halves, and the clock will stop the last three (3) minutes of each half. On the tenth foul of each half, the player will shoot two (2) free throws. Each player will foul out on the sixth foul. Each team has two (2) time-outs per half.
Trophies will be given to the first and second place teams. There will be an MVP award for the outstanding player in the championship game. Plus, we will have an All-Tournament team.
